Manual – Activating AutoCAD after purchase

📌 Activate AutoCAD via Autodesk Account (user license)

1. Go to https://manage.autodesk.com and log in with your Autodesk ID.

2. Click on "Products and Services" and choose AutoCAD. Click on "Install" to download the correct version.

3. Install AutoCAD using the downloaded installer.

4. Start AutoCAD. You will now see the Autodesk Licensing login window.

5. Log in with your Autodesk ID. The software activates automatically via the cloud.

You don't need to enter a serial number for a user license. Everything is linked to your account.

🔑 For standalone licenses with serial number:

1. During installation or first startup, select “Enter Serial Number”.

2. Enter the serial number and product key (e.g. AutoCAD 2025 = 001Q1 ).

3. Follow the online or manual activation process as prompted.
